The DBD Marine CD 411 Outdrive has been designed for use in Australia's rugged coastal waters and inland lakes, where underwater clearance and strong, rugged design is critical. The DBD Outdrive can be lifted hydraulically enabling the vessel to be driven with the outdrive level with the keel of the vessel, which enables use in water as shallow as the draw of the vessel itself.

The DBD Outdrive assembly is manufactured from stainless steel and marine bronze material and is designed to accept 2.36" diameter industry standard splined propellers. ie; Mercury Bravo 3. The DBD CD 411 Outdrive is designed for diesel engines up to 461HP, 661lb.ft. torque and petrol engines up to 661HP 661lb.ft. Torque

The DBD outdrive fits to the vessel transom at 01° to the keel with the DBD transom plate supplied. If the vessel has an angled transom, DBD can supply transom plate wedges in 9,23,26 degree angles.

The DBD factory fitted transom plate has a built in angle of 9 degrees which corresponds to most marine gearbox output shaft angles. Having no gearbox in the outdrive assembly enables infinite choice of gearbox ratios.

The DBD Outdrive assembly is supplied with a 2521 series Spicer Drive Flange, metric drive flanges and imperial to metric flange adapters are available by order.

The DBD Outdrive steering is designed to accept an internal hydraulic ram which connects to the DBD adjustable tiller arm. An external hydraulic steering mechanism is available by special order.
